Have you ever wonder....
how are your friends think of you?
whether your friends dislike you?
whether your friends hate you?
is there any problems with your own character?
whether are you welcome?
whether are your friends treating you as a real friend?
.....
have you ever wonder....
haiyah...no need to wonder so much lah. who want to dislike you?
i wondered. but i know it wasn't worth it anyway. :) after the emo-ness that is.
wondered before la then figured that if the friends that dislike did not have the guts or the love enough to tell me, then they're not really friends.
on the other hand, if the friends that kononnya dislike me and keep nit picking at everything aren't really worth having as friends.
conclusion: it matters but NOT THAT MUCH =)
joel -> mayb you dislike me ler...haha! i cant read minds ok =P
ploh -> you're always emo rite? haha! but wat happens when you're so free that you din have anything to do n you're just sitting there and this questions pop up in ur mind...you can't help it rite? =P
ge -> yep... i guess you're rite =) but i think sometimes ppl like me just cant control our mind from having all these thoughts...
I guess everybody, at different points of their lives, have wondered the questions you posted.
But here is what I think:
1. How your friends think of you?
It doesn't really matter. I think the real question should be (it might sound a lil corny): how do you think of yourself? I realized the best way to be a friend is to be yourself first. When you accept yourself, you will accept others, and vice versa (although this does not apply to every freaking person on this earth la)
2. Whether your friends dislike you?
Nah. I don't think you will have people disliking you. You are such a friendly person. :D
3. Whether your friends hate you?
If they are friends, they won't be hating you. Think about it: why would a friend wanna hate a friend when a friend is supposed to care for a friend? LOL. Are you confused?
4. Are there problems with your character?
I think everybody has problems with their character in different ways. We have to always keep ourselves in check because nobody on this earth is perfect. Hence, the question should be: how can I improve my character and act best in every situation, no matter positive or otherwise.
5. Are you welcomed?
Yes, you are. This is the answer for you. Normally, those who welcome you are friends; those who don't are not. So, what is your definition of welcome?
6. Whether your friends treat you as a real friend?
Personally, I do treat you as a real friend. ;)
All in all, although it is completely humane to ask such questions, yet, do bear in mind that being a friend doesn't mean pleasing the friend (although friends do please each other). It is being yourself, and learning from your friends how to be a better person.
Friends are those who will always be by your side. Perhaps it would help if you start understand what a friend is. I have similarly wondered the above questions, and many times have I found myself wondering about those questions. I do fear, I do feel insecure at many times; but I know that these questions will not be an issue. :)
No worries, paul. You have tons of friends out there who care for you. All you need to do is just notice them. They might not be huge famous people who actively talk to you. They might be rather insignificant people who do small things for you. :)
